Chelan County PUD on line with TOA®
SAN JOSE, CA, January 22, 2007

Sun-Net Consulting (SNC) announced today that the TOA® is in production at Chelan County PUD in Wenatchee, Washington.

Chelan County PUD relies on the mighty Columbia River for much of its hydropower generation. The PUD delivers clean, renewable, low-cost energy to local residents and to other utilities that serve 7 million residents of Pacific Northwest.

The Transmission Outage Application Suite (TOA®) will streamline Chelan’s outage coordination process on their transmission generation and distribution system, while enhancing coordinating efforts from field personnel, planners, power system engineers, system operators and fish & wildlife biologist. TOA® allows electronic submission and notification of outage requests. The outage requests migrate thru the TOA® in a multi-approval process, lessening the chance for impact to electric customers and fish & wildlife.

Sun-Net Consulting is working with Chelan County PUD for the implementation of phase II of the TOA®; which will electronic interface Chelan County PUD's TOA® with Northwest Power Pool for the sharing of privileged information.
