San Jose, California January 16, 2009 - Sun-Net Corporation announced it has been awarded Great River Energy’s Switching, Scheduling, Outage Coordination & Logging Enterprise contract for Sun-Net’s Transmission Outage Application suite (TOA®) of products.
The Great River Energy is a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative that provides wholesale electric service to 28 distribution co-ops that serve more than 620,000 members. Great River Energy owns more than 4,500 miles of transmission power lines and owns or co-owns more than 100 transmission substations. Its power lines cover about 60% of Minnesota and run into North Dakota and Wisconsin.
