SAN JOSE, CA, January 5, 2012 - Sun-Net Consulting (SNC) Sun-Net Consulting Inc., based in San Jose, California, announced it has been awarded the contract for Sun-Net’s TOA® Outage Application software suite by Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC).
Georgia System Operations Corporation, located in Tucker, Georgia, is an independent, not-for-profit system operations company owned by 38 of Georgia's electric membership corporations. The member systems serve approximately 50 percent of the households in Georgia, covering more than 65 percent of the land area in the state.
The U.S. Department of Energy chose Georgia System Operations as one of 100 companies nationwide to receive $6.5 million in funding to develop a smarter, more efficient energy grid.
